In observance of Veterans Day, each morning this week, we will have a distinguished veteran lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. This is an opportunity to show our gratitude and respect for their service. Today’s veteran is Mr. Jon Witteborg. He served in the Army Reserves from 1988-1994.  


Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.   


Date Friday, November 14

Lunch: Stuffed crust pep pizza or buffalo chicken pizza, salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.


Announcements

  1. Today we welcome Mrs. Schumacher for Mrs. Birnesser, Mr. Pingle for Mrs. Auchmuty, and Mrs. Flores for Mr. Schafer today.

  2. November is Career Development Month.  Students are being introduced to different career pathways such as enlisting in a military branch, entering the workforce, and enrolling in college.   All 7-12 students and staff are encouraged to dress up next week. Monday is high school or college alma mater attire.

  • Audition times for this year's Musical "On The Town" are posted in the choir room along with all the audition materials needed. Join our Google Classroom (w3dhwl4h) to access more resources and find all information regarding our production.


ATL Shout Outs

  • Sahanna Garza, Dylan Ledford, and Wraylie Speelman-Kipp for daily participation in class.

  • Faculty and staff for making sure we got out of the building safely during the fire.

  • Vaughn D. Wilkins for working so diligently on the catering project in creative foods.

  • Joe Morman, Addison Kohli, Simon Zimmerly, Ava Schultz, Braden Brown and Mariah Schroeder for acts of kindness that inspired a peer.

  • Keigan Wainscott for holding the door open for me when my hands were full.

  • Landon Squillante for staying extra long to help clean up the football field after last week's game.

  • Julie and Jenna Longbrake for their positive attitude and manners in interactions with peers and adults.

  • Alex Meyer for his handling of personal injury with positivity; it is inspirational.

  • Hudson Schroeder for immediately jumping up and getting paper towels to help clean up spilled water.
