Today, Kalista Thain from GROB Systems spoke to Columbus Grove students in grades 10–12 who are interested in the GROB Apprenticeship Program. This incredible opportunity allows students to earn a college degree with no debt while gaining valuable hands-on experience!
Through the program, apprentices work toward an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology from Rhodes State College. Students attend classes at Rhodes two days a week and work at GROB three days a week—all while being paid for a 40-hour week.
Program Perks Include:
- 401(k) with 3% company match
- 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance
- Free daily lunch
- All tools and uniforms provided (new each year!)
- $185 annual safety shoe allowance
- Company-paid college tuition through Rhodes State College
This is an excellent path for students interested in engineering who prefer a hands-on learning experience while earning a degree and launching a career—debt-free!
