Manufacturing Day
Columbus Grove Schools would like to thank the Workforce Partnership of Putnam County and manufacturing companies that allowed Putnam counties schools into their manufacturing plants! This was an awesome experience for our students to see real world experiences and network with professionals. Manufacturing Day is held annually on the first Friday of October, with events throughout the month where manufacturers open their doors to junior high and high school students. It is organized annually by the Manufacturing Institute. The purpose is to inspire the next generation, positively shift perceptions about our industry, and build the foundation for the future manufacturing workforce. As a district we brought all juniors to Endera to explore employment opportunities after high school and next week we will take a career exploration field trip to Findlay High School for the Northwest Ohio College Fair.
