Buses are on the Road!

11 Columbus Grove school buses are now out on the road daily transporting our students to and from school safely. Please allow yourself a little more time in the morning, as school buses being on the road will create some traffic delays. Unfortunately, we experience about a dozen illegal bus passes with our buses on an annual basis, mostly caused by distracted driving. Many thanks to our excellent route drivers Deanna Ricker, Shelly Schroeder, Linda Ridenour, Joanne McKanna, Mike Fanaff, Bill Heilman, Janel Hardeman, Brad Anderson, Chad McCluer, Jeff Gertsen, and Pete Langhals.

Thank you Columbus Grove Christian Church!

We would like to extend a thank you to the Columbus Grove Christian Church congregation for their donation of school supplies again this school year. These supplies are greatly needed as it allows our students the materials required for a good start to the school year. We appreciate the generosity and thoughtfulness of this congregation!

Thank you Flag Crew Volunteers

A big Thank You to Senior Katie Schumacher in addition to Junior High students Ann Myers, Riley Dunn, Adrian Birnesser, and Kylie Siefker, who have graciously volunteered to put up and take down the U.S. and Ohio flags each day along with the Bulldog Flag on Fridays. These students have first or last period study hall and are willing to take on this responsibility for the entire school year. We greatly appreciate their willingness to perform this task in all types of weather throughout the year.

Anonymous Bullying and Safety Reporting System Available for Students and Parents

The Columbus Grove Board of Education is committed to providing a safe, positive, and productive educational environment for all its students. The District encourages the promotion of positive interpersonal relations between school community members.
Harassment, intimidation, or bullying toward a student, whether by other students, staff, or third parties is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Every student is encouraged, and every staff member is required, to report any situation that he/she believes to be aggressive behavior directed toward a student. To increase our abilities to address and further prevent bullying behavior, Columbus Grove Schools has designed an anonymous online harassment reporting system. If an adult or child suspects a student being bullied, they are encouraged to report the bullying behavior to school officials in person or via an anonymous hotline. This hotline can also be used to notify district officials of any suspicious or potentially dangerous activity that may affect students or staff at our school. Individuals can call or text 844-SAFEROH to report anything suspicious or endangering anyone at school. This online service has been in place for several years and has been quite effective in addressing safety or harassment issues for our school district.

Please fill out Free and Reduced Lunch Waiver Form for 2025-26 School Year

If you have any questions or need assistance regarding this process, please contact my office at 419-659-2639.
