Athlete Spotlight: Justin Norway
This week, we highlight Justin, an outstanding member of the Bulldogs football team. Justin has been playing football for an impressive eight years, and his dedication shows both on and off the field. As a key player on the offensive line, Justin plays a vital role in protecting his teammates and setting up big plays that keep the Bulldogs moving down the field.
One of Justin’s proudest accomplishments this season was helping lead the team to become NWC Champions — a testament to his hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence. When he’s not on the football field, Justin also competes in track, showcasing his athleticism year-round.
Justin says his favorite part of football is the strong bonding with the team.Personally, he strives to keep improving and help make the team better with each performance. Looking ahead, his goal for the team is ambitious but clear: to win a regional and state championship.
Outside of sports, Justin enjoys math — his favorite subject — and plans to attend college to study business after graduation.

Athlete Spotlight: Grace Verhoff
This week, we are excited to feature Grace Verhoff, a dedicated member of the varsity cheerleading squad. Grace has been a part of the cheer team for four years, bringing energy, school spirit, and leadership to every performance.
In addition to cheer, Grace is also involved in dance and choir, showcasing her talent and enthusiasm across multiple activities. Her favorite part of cheerleading is cheering under the Friday night lights, where she gets to hype up the crowd and support the Bulldogs alongside her teammates.
Grace’s personal goal this year is to improve her jumps, while her team goal is to always be there for each other—a reflection of the strong bond and teamwork that defines the squad.
A fun fact about Grace: she loves to go line dancing, which perfectly matches her upbeat and lively personality. After high school, Grace plans to attend Bowling Green State University to pursue a degree in speech therapy.
