    Overall Record Grove leads 45-33.

    Columbus Grove is 10-4 vs. Spencerville in Clymer Stadium.  In 1997 the Bearcats were the 1st opponent Grove played at Clymer Stadium.  Grove won 44-14.

    Columbus Grove has played Spencerville every year since the NWC was founded.  Spencerville, Delphos Jefferson, and Columbus Grove are the remaining 3 original founders of the NWC.  Other original members that have either merged or left for other conferences were Lafayette (merged with Harrod  to create Allen East in 1965), Shawnee (left in 1952), Elida (left after 1972 season), Forrest (left in 1965), and Pandora-Gilboa (left in 1965).
